Now, it’s time to focus on protein-packed concoctions that not only tantalize your taste buds but also reload your muscles after a vigorous workout or serve as a satisfying meal on the go.

You may also use other kinds of milk you prefer, optional (1 scoop protein powder), and Chia seeds for fiber.

This smoothie is perfect for refueling after a workout because it is jam-packed with peanut butter and Greek yogurt protein.

Almond Joy Smoothie

If you adore the flavors of a classic candy bar but want something more sustaining, Almond Joy Smoothie is the one for you. Think of the rich taste of almonds and coconut, along with a helping of chocolate protein powder for muscle repair. The ingredients are 1/2 cup coconut milk, 1/2 cup almond milk, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder or chocolate protein powder, 1 tablespoon almond butter, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, and ice cubes.

    Protein is essential for muscle maintenance, specially after a vigorous workout. And what better way to get the necessary protein, than though having a smoothie.

    These smoothie recipes all sound delicious. I find it interesting that you say to add ice to the smoothie, as I have found in the past that it made the blades blunt very quickly. But it could be that my blender wasn’t strong enough, or that I need more ingredients, before blending the smoothie.
