So, here I am, reflecting on the past year, and I’m reminded of my incredible journey. Ageless Fitness Journey isn’t just about fitness and health—it’s about community, support, and proving to ourselves that we’ve got this, no matter our age. I’m so thankful for every comment and encouragement you’ve shared when I needed it most.
2025 Is Here—What’s Next for You?
The New Year always feels like a chance to hit reset, right. It’s the perfect time to think about what’s working, what isn’t, and what we want to improve. I’ve been thinking about my health goals for 2025, and one big focus for me is eating healthier meals. I’m not talking about anything too extreme, but making a change so that I know I’ll be able to succeed. For example, I plan to eat more fresh, whole foods to fuel my body and make me feel amazing. I will also focus more on eating more protein and building muscle. I’m almost at my weight loss goal, so I aim to build muscle without too much bulk—know what I mean?
What about you? Maybe your goals are to:
- Building a fitness routine that fits your lifestyle.
- Drinking more water and cutting back on soft drinks or other sugary drinks.
- Finding time to stretch or move every day, even if it’s just for 10 minutes.
- Focusing on your mental health and creating moments of calm in your busy days.
Whatever your goals are, remember you don’t have to do it all at once—baby steps–slow and steady win the race. You don’t have to do it alone because I’m right there with you.

My focus on healthy meals is about feeling better, having more energy, and setting a good example for my family. It’s not about being perfect or cutting out everything I love—it’s about balance. That’s the goal I want to stick to this year: realistic and achievable.
One thing I want to try is meal prepping; in the past, I thought meal prepping was too much work.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably had moments where you felt like you were “starting over” more times than you can count. Hence, my absence for the second part of the year. But 2025 is a new year for me to try again. Remember, every day, week, month, and year is a new chance to try again. And the New Year is the ultimate reminder of that.
Progress, not perfection, is my mantra. It’s about showing up for yourself, even if it’s just a walk around the block or swapping one sugary snack for a banana—small wins.
Let’s focus on what feels good this year—moving our bodies, fueling ourselves with foods that energize us, and celebrating every little victory along the way. Because we are worth it.
